Here at Grafix Media, we print all our files using Adobe .pdf.
Now, many of our clients send us files in other formats. In that case, our graphic designers convert your files into .pdf in order to ensure your file prints correctly.
The differences between these two substrates boil down to price and durability.
Foamcore is the more economical product, but at the cost of being less durable. Merely bumping foamcore can result in dents, tears, or compressions, which would result in an inferior product. Ideally, you would use Foamcore for a temporary piece, or if you have a pre-made frame.
Sintra, on the other hand, is a far more durable product. Not only is it more resistant to bumps and dents, but it also has a degree of flexibility. However, this improved durability comes with a steeper price.
In an ideal environment, our art prints can last decades.
Please keep in mind that excessive heat, light, or even hand-contact with our art prints can result in fading or damage.
Our art prints are best kept within a temperature controlled room, secured within a frame. However, if our art prints are kept outside in direct sunlight, or within a sub-freezing storage unit, their durability can be compromised, resulting in damage or fading.
Turnaround times vary, but most orders are ready within 2–5 business days after proof approval.
We generally prefer our files to be sized at 300 DPI. Anything less, and you risk blur and pixilation in your final product.
Short answer: Maybe.
Long answer: Our graphic designers sometimes use AI to artificially increase the resolution of certain files, though never without the client’s express permission. Even then, AI is a new technology, and the results aren’t always print-worthy.

For hard-backed substrates – such as foamcore, sintra, or alupanel – our max print size is 4′ x 8′. We may be able to acquire oversized materials, though that would require a custom quote.
For roll-substrates – such as canvas or poster paper – can typically print 53″ wide by a couple-hundred feet, depending on the material.
